ST. JOHN NOW OPEN AT PASEO CARLSBAD
CARLSBAD, Calif. - Cushman & Wakefield's Urban Property Group is pleased to announce that St. John opened their latest outlet store at Paseo Carlsbad, North San Diego County's newest shopping and dining destination. St. John joins the existing line up of Road Runner Sports, Corner Bakery, Nutrition Zone, Pretty Please, Color Nails, Elephant Walk Outdoor Footwear and Menchies Frozen Yogurt. The existing tenants are all reporting solid sales that are growing on a weekly basis. The project is anchored by BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse and P.F. Chang's China Bistro, both of which opened in late 2009.
Paseo Carlsbad is a development of PacTen Partners for CPT/SC Title Holding Corporation. The 75,000-square-foot center is in its final phases of construction on a highly-visible seven-acre site at the intersection of Palomar Airport Road and Interstate 5. The project celebrated its official grand opening in the fall of 2010.
"St. John is a wonderful addition to Paseo Carlsbad, and we are excited they chose Paseo Carlsbad for their flagship San Diego County location" said Bill Shrader with Cushman & Wakefield's Urban Property Group. "P.F Chang's and BJ's, along with King's Seafood already bring a high-traffic volume to the center that will only be enhanced with the addition of destination driven high quality retailers like St. John and Road Runner Sports."
Bill Shrader and J.P. Sutro of the Cushman & Wakefield Urban Property Group represented the landlord and Hanna Struever with Retail Portfolio Solutions represented St. John. St. John, a leader in the luxury women's ready-to-wear clothing industry, known for high quality, craftsmanship and service signed a 3,625-square-foot lease for 10 years. This is the only San Diego County location, 8th in California and most of its apparel continues to be manufactured in Southern California.
Paseo Carlsbad is designed by Gene Fong Associates and features an open-air mission-style design complete with fountains and lushly landscaped promenades. The general contractor for the site is Kunzik & Sara.
